The aim of studying food technology is to develop skills and knowledge to design and make good quality food products.

Food technology is the use of science to improve the growing , harvesting, processing, packaging, distribution, cooking and storage of food. It makes use of the latest discoveries in science and the latest development in technology.


It is the process involved in the conversion of raw materials to edible food products including meals.
